What’s So Amazing About Grace?
There is nothing we can do to make God love us more. There is nothing we can do to make God love us less. We speak of grace from the scriptures and in our studies, but do we understand it? Do we truly believe it? Do our daily lives proclaim God’s grace? Based on Phillip Yancey’s bestseller, this curriculum gives Gods’ marvelous gift of grace fresh perspective and understanding. It looks a look at what grace is and isn’t and why Christians can and must reveal the grace the world is searching for. Using DVD and print materials, this ACE study will certainly open your heart to amazing grace.

St. Augustine’s Confessions
Do you know who Saint Augustine was and what he meant to Christianity in the 4th century? It was a time of many Christian controversies. As an author of Christian writings, he is considered second to the apostle Paul in that he had an effect on the establishment of Christianity. His writings, even though written in the 4th century, are still applicable today. We will touch on Augustine’s conversion to Christianity and some of the troubles he had before making the conversion. These same troubles many of us have, if we are honest with ourselves. If we are not careful we will learn history, literature,, philosophy, and what is true happiness — all this from a priest in the town of Hippo during the late 4th—5th century. Come join in thoughtful discussion during this 13 week series. I promise it will be thought provoking and should get us all thinking away from ourselves and more toward God and His Son Christ.
